Batman: Caped Crusader Opening Title Shot

Here's a shot I got to work on from the opening title sequence of the new Batman: Caped Crusader show which comes out tomorrow Aug 1 on Amazon Prime. It was an incredible honor to get to paint both the Dark Knight himself and his beloved Gotham City skyline based on Bruce Timm's original poster design for the show.
It was a great experience to work under the creative leadership of Bruce Timm and James Tucker, the production management of Julie Osborn and Aisha Clarke, as well as alongside an immensely talented crew of fellow background painters. I can't wait for everyone to see the work we put in to bring this world of Gotham to life.
I'll be posting the backgrounds I painted throughout the next few weeks once the show is officially released.
