Batman: Caped Crusader Courthouse Interiors

Here are some shots of the Gotham Courthouse interior that I painted from episode 01 of Batman: Caped Crusader. For this show, I wanted the daytime shots to really evoke a sense of sunlight so in the development phase I looked to sources like Edward Hopper and the old Fleischer Superman cartoons for inspiration. Thankfully our showrunners liked the end result of where I was going which led to the execution you see here. I'm not sure who drew the layouts for these but the episode 1 designers are listed as: Elliot Byrne, Robert Harand, Richie Chavez and Aletta Wenas.
